(Des Moines, IA) -- Eight Alpacas will be calling Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines home for the summer.
The zoo is partnering with Rusty Stars Alpacas for an interactive experience from May 26 until Labor Day.
The Des Moines Weavers and Spinners Guild will also offer demonstrations on how alpaca fur is turned into products throughout the summer.
Blank Park Zoo says there may be a few more new animals coming to the zoo this summer.
