(Moline, IL) -- Flood cleanup from the Mississippi River continues in the Quad Cities as the river is receding.

The Mississippi River crested at 21.51 feet last month leaving behind mud, slit, and debris.

Moline Public Works Department tells WQAD crews have been working to get River Drive fully re-opened, but it could take some time.

They say phase one is cleaning up and phase two will be sanitizing.
