Proposal Creating Iowa Office Of Apprenticeship Is Now Law

(Des Moines, IA) -- A bill creating the Iowa Office of Apprenticeship is now law.

Jefferson County Senator Adrian Dickey says the law will provide members of Iowa's workforce with countless opportunities that otherwise would not have been available to them.

He says the office will help those who aren't interested a four-year college education.

Dickey says the Office of Apprenticeship will act as a direct connection between employers and Iowa's apprentices and students.

Governor Reynolds signed the bill into law Wednesday.
