Fort Dodge Teen Facing Additional Charge In Deadly Shooting

(Fort Dodge, IA) -- A Fort Dodge teen is facing an additional charge stemming from a deadly shooting Tuesday night in the 100 block of N. 10th Street in Fort Dodge. Police are looking for Davonquae Pettigrew, who is wanted on First Degree Murder and Attempted Murder charges. Police say he's wanted in connection with the shooting death of 18-year-old Patrick Walker. A second man, 20-year-old Silas Hall, was also shot, but is recovering.

Pettigrew is 17 years of old, 5’8” tall, and weighs 130 pounds. Mr. Pettigrew should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr. Pettigrew, they are encouraged to contact law enforcement immediately.

Webster County Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward in the case.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Fort Dodge Police. Information may also be submitted anonymously via Crime Stoppers.

Police another teen, 16-year-old Haydin Mapel of Fort Dodge has been arrested and charged with:

Aiding and Abetting First Degree Murder

Aiding and Abetting Attempt to Commit Murder.

Mapel will have her initial appearance tomorrow (Friday) morning.
