Cedar Rapids Firefighters Pull Car out of Cedar River

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- An investigation ongoing after Cedar Rapids firefighters pulled a car out of the Cedar River on Thursday.

Investigators say no one was hurt in the crash. Police say there was only one person in the car who ran off the road and ended up in the river Thursday morning. The driver was able to get to shore uninjured.

Extraction efforts caused temporary delays on Ellis Boulevard Thursday morning.
