$1.5 Million Approved for Work-Based Programs for Iowa High Schoolers

(Iowa) -- Programs that provide opportunities for Iowa high schoolers to explore future careers will receive more than a million dollars in grant funding.

On Wednesday, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced up to $1.5 million dollars in available funding for the Statewide Intermediary Work-based Learning Grant Program. Funds will be open to state educational organizations, community college, non-profits, and more that offer Iowa high schoolers opportunities in a real worksite environment.

Applications will be accepted on www.iowagrants.gov until noon on Friday, June 2nd.
