OPS Signs Another School Bus Vender To Ease Transportation Issues

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Public Schools is signing another bus company to ease its transportation issues. On Monday Omaha Public Schools agreed to pay First Student $5.7-million starting in August. The contract could later be renewed for two years. The school district says First Student will add 30-60 more buses. The school district says its other vender Student Transportation of America has been dealing with driver shortages and failing to cover all of its routes.
