Two People Injured After Shooting Late Friday

(Omaha, NE) -- A shooting late Friday wounded two people in Omaha. Police officers heard several gunshots north of the of 1400 block of 16th Street. Officers were later called to the Creighton Medical Center for a walk-in shooting victim, subsequently finding a vehicle in the drive-up entrance riddled with bullets, and a second shooting victim. Both were taken to Bergan Mercy for non-life threatening injuries. An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-7867 or www.p3tips.com.
