(Iowa) -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is keeping track of spring wildflowers across the state.

The DNR's weekly spring wildflower report says there's not much to see yet in northern Iowa yet, but with warmer temperatures expected next week, that's likely to change. In central Iowa, some spring flowers have started to emerge. Virginia bluebells are up to 4 inches tall, and Hazelnut Catkins are currently flowering and have been for about a week. Snow trillium has been spotted at Pine Lake State Park in Hardin County.
