(Des Moines, IA) -- Traffic around Wakonda Club in Des Moines will be heavy starting Friday. The Principal Charity Classic started Wednesday with the Pro-Am tournament. Drivers are warned Park Avenue will be closed Friday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., which will create heavier traffic around the course especially on Fleur where the city has been doing construction. The Principal Charity Classic brings in professional golfers and celebrities to compete and raise money for Iowa Children's Charities.
