NASA Climate Scientist Wins 2022 World Food Prize

(Des Moines, Iowa) -- A NASA climatologist is the 2022 World Food Prize Laureate.

The Des Moines-based World Food Prize awarded the $250 thousand dollar prize to Dr. Cynthia Rosenzweig.

She was recognized for her work studying the impact of climate change on worldwide food production. Dr. Rosenzweig is a Senior Research Scientist at the NASA Goodard Institute for Space Studies and Adjunct Senior Research Scientist at the Columbia Climate School.
