(Des Moines, IA) -- New data shows over a third of workers in the Des Moines metro are at high risk of being replaced by machines.

The study from Commodity says that number is about 42% - or almost 100,000 people.

They say lower-skilled jobs, like office administration, food preparation and transportation, are most at risk of automation.
