Man in Custody After Leading Police on a Chase

(Des Moines, Iowa) -- One man is in custody after leading police on a chase Thursday.

Police say Cole Langford escaped after a chase back in November, and officers have been looking for him ever since. Langford wasn't so lucky the second time.

Urbandale Police attempted to arrest him for multiple outstanding warrants on Thursday, when officers say Langford rammed their car and sped away. Des Moines Police joined the chase and were able to stop and arrest him near East 33rd and Dubuque.

Police say back in November, Langford escaped by stealing a City of Des Moines truck, crashing through a fence on Des Moines' east side, and abandoning the truck on East Army Post Road.

Langford is being held at the Polk County Jail facing multiple charges.
