DES MOINES, Iowa - The state is closing all Test Iowa sites, including clinic sites, for Labor Day.
The 23 locations around the state will reopen next Tuesday, September 8th, and will run their regular schedules.
The Dickinson County clinic site at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake will offer extended hours next Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and resume normal hours beginning on Wednesday.
Anyone wanting to be tested at any site must first complete the online assessment at testiowa.com. They will then be directed to schedule an appointment.
Test Iowa is a state run COVID-19 testing operation.
Metro Des Moines has three area sites and clinics - Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines, Polk County River Place in Des Moines and Great River Health Drive-Thru Test Site at Des Moines County Fairgrounds. An additional Story County site is the Story County Drive-thru Test Clinic at Iowa State University Research Park.
