QUAD CITIES - Mediacom is warning customers in Bettendorf, Clinton, and several communities surrounding the Quad Cities that they may experience service interruptions after midnight.
Mediacom said in a news release that it will be moving a portion of its fiber optic cables on the Iowa side of the I-74 bridge, which could cause some service gaps.
Customers in Bettendorf, LeClaire, and Princeton may experience internet and phone service interruptions, but the television signal should not be affected in those areas.
Mediacom says television service could be interrupted in Clinton, Maquoketa, DeWitt, and Comanche, but phone and internet should not experience any service difficulties.
Maintenance should be completed by 6am on Wednesday.
