DES MOINES, Iowa -- Two people in Iowa test have tested negative for coronavirus.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says the two people tested had recently come back to Iowa from China. The department says the two were monitored for a week while testing was done. They isolated themselves at home.

The Department also says 26 people in the state are currently being monitored for coronavirus, but haven't shown symptoms.

Public Heath wants Iowa's doctors to tell them about patients who have symptoms of coronavirus and were recently in China.
