Spilled gravy leads to Des Moines man's child porn arrest

DES MOINES, Iowa - A man accused of having child porn on his computer is busted when he seeks technical support to fix it.

Des Moines police say Robert Watson brought his computer into a Best Buy location because it stopped working when he spilled gravy on it.

After buying a new laptop, Watson paid the Geek Squad to transfer files from the broken computer to the new one.

They noticed photos appearing to be child pornography and called police.

Court documents show Watson told police he downloaded images of four and five year olds he thought were about to have sex so he could tell others.

WHO Channel 13 reports Watson was arrested Tuesday and charged with 10 counts of possession of child porn.
