DALLAS COUNTY, Iowa- The Iowa State Patrol says a Michigan man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate-80 west the De Soto (Highway 169) exit, about 20 miles west of Des Moines.
The Iowa State Patrol says two people were riding on a motorcycle, eastbound on I-80, around 10 o'clock this (Friday) morning when the bike blew a tire and crashed.
Forty-two year old Matthew Babock of Olivet, Michigan was killed. A second person, 43-year-old Jamie Babcock, also of Olivet, Michigan was injured and taken to Methodist Medical Center.
The State Patrol says neither was wearing a helmet.
