DES MOINES, Iowa - Five medical marijuana dispensary locations have been announced by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
Council Bluffs, Davenport, Waterloo, Sioux City, and the Des Moines suburb of Windsor Heights have been selected.
These five applicants have until this Wednesday morning, tomorrow, at 9:00 to accept the license offers from the Department of Health. A second tier of applicants will receive license offers if any of the initial five decline.
Medical marijuana is targeted to go on sale in Iowa in December of this year.
