President Trump Threatens To Pull ICE Agents From California

President Trump, frustrated with elected officials in California blocking cooperation between Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and local law enforcement, is threatening to pull ICE agents out of the state.

“We’re getting no help from the state of California,” Trump said from the White House. “Frankly, if I wanted to pull our people from California you would have a crime nest like you’ve never seen in California. All I’d have to do is say ‘ICE and border patrol, let California learn.’”

At first glance, pulling law enforcement from a state and endangering citizens in order to make a point seems harsh.  But some LIBERALS welcomed the news:

When you think about, the President's statement puts California politicians in a tough spot.  Since they don't want federal immigration officials "hassling" illegal immigrants, they establish sanctuary city policy.  They should explain why they think that Trump's ICE decision SHOULDN'T be welcomed in a sanctuary state.  At least the above Tweet is intellectually honest.
