DES MOINES, Iowa - Three kids were arrested Tuesday night in a stolen truck after a police chase through south Des Moines.
Officers say they spotted the stolen truck near Indianola at Kirkwood around 10:30 p.m.
WHO Channel 13 reports police unsuccessfully tried a pit maneuver, in which an officer rams the back of a suspect vehicle, causing it to spin out.
The chase ended in a cul-de-sac when police say the driver crashed the truck into some trees in the backyard of a house on East Lacona Avenue.
Police say three juveniles were arrested. No one was hurt.
