The Iowa County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of a man, shot and killed Wednesday at the I-80 rest area near Victor, as 60 year old Ernest Kummer of Monroe, Iowa.

The Iowa County Sheriff's Office says a truck driver was shot and killed, at the westbound rest area on
I-80, near Victor, approximately 40 miles west of Iowa City early this (Wednesday) morning.
Deputies found a man, dead of apparent gunshot wounds in his tractor trailer semi. Forty-three year old Mariana T. Lesnic has been taken into custody, and is been charged with first degree murder. She is being held in the Iowa County Jail, bond set at $1 million.
The name of the shooting victim will be released, pending notification of relatives.
The Iowa County Sheriff's Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are investigating the case.
