The Queen's Drinking Schedule Is Impressive

Imagine, you are queen for the day.

What do you do first with your day?

Pass a new law?  Meh.

Go to all the tourist spots in top-notch VIP style?  Whatever.

Have a drink?  Perfect.

Well, that's pretty much what Queen Elizabeth II does everyday.

Okay, in fairness, it isn't the first thing she does.  She probably gets dressed, eats breakfast, and all your other typical morning routine items first, but she does hit the bottle before the clock strikes noon.

In fact, the Queen's daily routine includes four drinks.

First, she enjoys a gin and Dubonnet with a slice of lemon and a lot of ice.  Fancy, fancy.

Then, at the conclusion of lunch, she downs a glass of wine.  Again, sounds about right.

Then it heats up.

Now for number four.

Before you get too freaked out, it isn't until hours later and it is her final drink of the day.

Just before bed, Queen Elizabeth II enjoys a nice glass of Champagne.

There you go.  As young and as virile as you may think you are, I think it's a pretty safe to say that you don't have anything on the Queen's daily drink schedule.  I couldn't hang, I know that.

In all honesty, though, she is 91 years old, so she must be doing something right.
